Mission Statement
* Welcome all people with warm hospitality
* Reach out to the alienated and unchurched
* Gently lead the alienated back to Jesus by the befriending and
sharing in Catholics Returning Home after every Christmas, Easter and
September there will be a 6 week program to help non-practicing Catholics come
back to church. For details see Catholics

* Guide and instruct the unchurched in the Christian Initiation of
Adults
* Encourage God's people to become active in Welcoming and Evangelization

Groups

WELCOMING/EVANGELIZATION COMMITTEES (Dottie
Schnapf)
Greeters - Parishioners who greet everyone as they come into church and
handout The Sunday Bulletins.
Ushers - A group of people that make sure everyone gets booklets as they
go into church as well as take up collection.
Newcomers - Parishioners who welcome all new people into our church
family with a personal touch.
Catechists - A
team of people that take turns leading discussion and class for the people
entering into the Church though the RCIA process.
RCIA Sponsor - Members of the parish who commit to being life time
companions to the people joining the Church.
RCIA Hospitality - a parishioner who takes care of the coffee and
doughnuts for the whole RCIA group.
SAMARITANS/ LAZARUS

Visit the sick and shut-ins and take The Eucharist to them. Support those who
have lost loved ones.
HOSPITALITY
Sunday Coffee & Donuts - A team of people who make sure that there is
plenty of coffee and doughnuts for everyone after the masses on Sunday's.
Receptions - Members of the parish that setup and serve refreshment at
various special functions.
Special Events - Parishioners who setup and organize all the special
events such as The Agape Feast, Parish Picnic, Family Christmas Party
MEN'S CLUB

Men of the parish who gather on the 4th Wednesday of each month for a dinner and
social gathering, for the purpose of fund raisers to finance parish youth
activities.
WOMEN'S
CLUB
(Pauline Patterson)
A social gathering of the women, meeting on the 1st Monday
of every other month for the purpose of Fund Raisers for special parish projects
as well as purchase of items for the parish.
BEREAVEMENT DINNERS

Provide a dish for the Family Dinner following the funeral and help serve the
dinner

Second Saturday each month (6:30 to 10:00 pm)
Outreach Mission
Statement
| Nativity's outreach is
a small faith-sharing group of Nativity Parishioners who come together to
pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit as they discern the needs of the
community and distribute parish funds. Nativity is a Tithing Parish,
giving 10% of all our offerings to poor and worthy causes. |
ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

A group of people who pray, send cards and visit homes and disperse funds to the
financially poor.
