Minister's Descriptions

EUCHARISTIC MINISTER (see schedule)                                                                               Prepare the gifts of bread and wine before Mass and offer them during Mass

 

SERVERS 
Assist the Priest at Mass by either Youth or Adults

 

LECTORS 
Proclaim the Word of God at Mass

 

GIFT BEARERS 
Parishioners who present the Bread and Wine at the Offertory

 

ALTAR SOCIETY
A group that decorates the church in accordance with the Liturgical Calendar

 

BEREAVEMENT DINNERS 
Provide a dish for the Family Dinner following the funeral and help serve the dinner

 

SAMARITAN/ LAZARUS (further description)                                                                                      Support group for parishioners who have lost a loved one. Visit the sick and shut-ins and take The Eucharist to them.

 

CHOIR  
Members of the parish who sing at Mass and special occasions. Practice on Thursday nights, September to May

 

MUSICIAN
Members who provide music for our celebrations (Organist, Instrument Players)

 

AGAPE 
Parishioners who prepare a very special Love Feast following the Holy Thursday Celebration

 

HEAVENLY DUSTERS 
Clean Church before the week-end Masses

 

GARDENING ANGELS 
Maintain Mary's Garden and also all the flowers in front of church
