The Simon Bruté Award Recipients |
|
The Bruté Society is an honorary association of southwestern Indiana Catholic lay persons who have been recognized by their fellow parishioners as outstanding models of Christian fellowship. The society was established in 1990 as an official activity of the Diocese of Evansville. Simon Bruté was the first Bishop of the Diocese of Vincennes, which in 1834 included all of Indiana and a portion of Illinois. The Simon Bruté medal is a symbol of membership. It was fashioned from the official diocesan stewardship logo which includes the three "stewardship Ts" representing Treasure, Time, and Talent. We are very proud to display pictures of our previous recipients.
