Who Attends Religious Education Classes?
Children in Kindergarten through grade eight enrolled in public schools or who do not otherwise receive formal education in the Catholic faith attend Religious Education Classes on Sunday morning from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Registration:
New families to our program may call the Family Faith Formation Office (476-7186) for further information and to register. Registration forms can also be obtained from the parish office.
Catechists:
Catechists (teachers, subs and helpers) are always welcome. As catechists, we learn a great deal and sow seeds for the future church. If you would like to serve our parish in this area of Faith Formation, this is your chance. Contact Judi Kissel!
General Information:
The three year olds – second grade will attend the Liturgy of the Word during Mass. Kindergarten through 8thgrade will have classes on Sunday morning from 10:30 till 11:45 a.m.
Finally, please remember that attending Religious Education classes does not substitute for your child’s need to attend Mass. The way that you as a family approach our Faith teaches your child more than he or she will ever learn in weekly classes
